Bringing Hope and Transformation

As a nonprofit Christian organization the Westminster Rescue Mission is a community that provides clinical, physical, and spiritual resources to heal the addicted and feed the hungry. We take a holistic approach with Christ as the foundation of our work. Our two ministry programs include the Addiction Healing Center and the Mission Food Program.

Take a walk through our website to see the transformative work that's taking place in our community through these ministries, meet our team, and learn how you can partner with us to impact individuals and families - bringing hope that lasts a lifetime.

The line forms outside St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (https://www.facebook.com/groups/85582220328) sometimes hours before the doors open at noon on Thursday for A Meal and More, a ministry of St. Paul’s that provides a full, balanced meal to anyone who comes. “Every week we prepare enough to serve 80 meals. We are fortunate to receive food from individual donors, but the Mission Food Program at the Westminster Rescue (@wrmorg) is a major source for us, especially for perishables like meat and fresh produce,” said Georgia Rittmeyer, who has been running A Meal and More for close to 10 years. “We provide a full, warm meal for people living with food insecurity or just in need of nourishment and nurture.”
