On July 10, 2026, Westminster Rescue Mission celebrated a milestone moment — the ribbon cutting for the Recovery Home for Moms and Their Children in Westminster. Carroll County's first recovery home of its kind, the home will provide pregnant women and mothers in recovery a safe, stable place to heal — without having to leave their children behind. These photos capture the community, partners, and supporters who helped make it possible.
Like recovery itself, supporting our most vulnerable is a long journey, but we are so excited to be ready to say, ‘You Are Welcome Here!’ to the moms and kids who need us. We are deeply grateful for the support and partnership of so many who recognized this need and are helping us respond to it.
