Westminster Rescue Mission

The ministries of the Westminster Rescue Mission are supported in part by revenues generated through our two stores – The Mission Store in downtown Westminster and the Thrift Barn located in our main facility.  These thrift stores provide great opportunities for bargain shopping for our community while at the same time giving the men in our Recovery Program the chance to learn skills and serve the public.  Clients contribute to the operations in the areas of receiving and sorting donations, working with customers in the stores and pick-up and delivery of donations and purchases.  We always strive to operate as a light in the community where neighbors can find great shopping values but also share prayers, needs and encouragement with the store staff, volunteers and clients.  It is not uncommon to find customers and staff praying together in our stores.  We also partner with other local agencies to meet the material needs of those who fall on hard times.
