What We Believe:    

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and
Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19.

We believe the Bible; both Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired
Word of God, His revelation to man, inerrant in its orginal writings therefore of
final and supreme authority in faith and practive. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten be the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. John 1:1-19; 1 Timothy 3:16;
Luke 1:26-33.

We believe that man was defeated in the image of God; that he sinned, and
thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is
separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature,
are totally depraved, and must be born again to be accepted by God.
Romans 5:12, 3:10-20; John 3:1-21.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the
Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who
believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood; that all who
receive Him by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and hereby become
children of God. 1 Corinthians 15:1-3; John 1:12; Hebrews 9:22;
Romans 5:9.

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of the Lord Jesus; in His
ascension into Heaven, and His present life there for us as Advocate and High
Priest. 1 Corinthians 15:4; Mark 16:19; Hebrews 8:1; John 2:1.

We believe in the "Blessed Hope", the personal pre-millennial and imminent
return of our Lord and Savior, Jesue Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18;
Titus 2:11-14.

We believe in a Heaven and a Hell. Heaven the place of eternal conscious joy
and happiness for all who receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Hell
as the place of eternal conscious torment and punishment in the lake of fire
for all who reject Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 7:1-9; Revelation 20:10-15;
Luke 16:19-31.

ABOUT US

    The Westminster Rescue Mission is a Christian, residential rehabilitation center for men.  
Founded in 1968, this non-profit outreach ministry is located on a 30 acre farm and is governed
by a Board of Directors. The Mission is deeply committed to helping people with substance abuse
issues in the name of Jesus Christ, because,  He ALONE is the answer....  Let us share with you a
couple of items of information in the interest of helping you to become an informed supporter of
the Westminster Rescue Mission.
     
       Did you know…

• WRM was established in 1968
• WRM’s Men’s drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation program has currently grown to a 65 bed facility
• WRM gives out bags of food to Carroll County Residence Monthly
• WRM gives away hundreds of coats & hats each winter to keep kids & adults warm and healthy
  through our “Warm-A-Child”
• WRM gives away hundreds of holiday baskets with a large turkey and all the trimmings for both
  Christmas and Thanksgiving to help make the holiday jolly and bright.
• WRM is funded largely in part through you purchases at our Bazaars, Flea Markets, The Thrift
  Barn, the Spare Room located on Main Street downtown and Your Donations.
